RISEAP 상임이사회의 성공적 개최 기원 하고 한국이슬람 역사 및 우리교단의 현황과 활동을 소개했다. 이 자리에서 RISEAP 상임부회장 리듀완 우 형제는 RISEAP의 모범적 회원으로서의 한국 이슬람 교단의 활동에 경의를 표했다.

광주 이슬람 센터(광주광역시 북구 양산동 소재)개원식이 지난 4월 6(일)일 우리 교단 임직원 주한 사우디아라비아 대리대사, 수단, 쿠웨이트 대사를 비롯한 주한 이슬람국가 외교사절과 광주지역 무슬림 형제들을 비롯 광주과학기술원 재학 중인 이슬람국가 출신 유학생 등 250여명이 참석한 가운데 개최되었다. 성 꾸란 낭송으로 시작된 이날 개원식에는 주한 사우디 대사는 축사를 통해 개원에 협조한 광주 무슬림들의 노고에 대해 심심한 감사를 표하고 향후 이 지역 선교의 터전으로 자리 잡기를 기원했다.

Opening Ceremony Held for Gwangju Islamic Center
The Gwangju Islamic Center established on the 6th of April, 2008 had it's opening ceremony which was attended by members of the Seoul Central Masjid, charg d´affaires of the embassy of Saudi Arabia, Embassador of Sudan and Kuwait, all in Korea, GIST Muslim students, Muslims who live in Gwnagju city, and Muslim brothers from other cities. About 250 people attended this ceremony.
The ceremony started with the recitation of Qur'an, followed by the congratulation speech from Sulaiman Lee Haeng-Lae, Imam of the Seoul Central Masjid. He appreciated the efforts especially of the Gwangju Muslims community. Imam Suleiman Lee prayed that Gwangju Islamic Center will be a place for inviting Koreans to the true message of Islam. Afterwards the charg d´affaires of the embassy of Saudi Arabia, Embassador of Sudan and Kuwait in Korea also gave a congratulation speech.

지난 2008년 3월 29일(토) 오전 11시 중앙성원 대회의실에서 약 40여명의 국내 무슬림 형제자매가 참석한 가운데 '한국 이슬람교 중앙회 무슬림회 회의가 개최되었다. 성 꾸란 구절의 암송을 시작으로 중앙회 임직원 소개 및 인사말에 이어 사무총장 이샤 김환윤 형제가 한국 이슬람교 현안을 설명했다. 한편 신임 무슬림회 회장 자이드 박현봉 형제는 향후 무슬림회 운영 방향과 활동계획을 발표했는데 한국 무슬림 공동체 발전을 위한 이들이 활동이 기대된다.

Korea Muslim's Association of KMF Meeting
Meeting of Korea Muslim's Association which was held on the 29th March, 2008 finished successfully. Around 40 Muslim brothers and sisters attended this meeting. The proceedings of the meeting started with the recitation of the Qur'an and continued with introducing the members of Korea Muslim's Association.

Secretary General of the Korean Muslim Federation (KMF) Isaa Kim Hwan-yoon gave a brief representation of present condition of Islam in Korea. President of the Korea Muslim Association (KMA) Zayd Bak Hyeon-bong gave aim and future plan of the KMA. It was meaningful meeting for future of Korea Muslim society. Inshallah we hope the Islam in Korea in future will develop better.




‘프린스 슐탄 이슬람 초등학교'가 2009년 개교 예정이다. 우리교단은 내년 3월 개교를 목표로 올해 안에 부지와 건물을 마련할 계획인데. 지난 4월 14일 (금) 주한 사우디아라비아 압둘라 알-아이판 대사는 사우디정부의 지원금 미화 50만 달러를 우리교단 압둘라직 손주영 이사장 에게 전달했다. 한국 최초의 정규 이슬람 초등학교가 될 이 학교는 이슬람 기본 교리 과정과 한국의 정규 초등교육과정과 조화시킬 예정이며 국내의 일반인 학생에게도 문호를 개방할 예정이다.

Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Elementary School will open Next Year 2009
Last , March 14th,(Fri) 2008 Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Korea, H.E Abdullah Al-Aifan, delivered $ 500,000 to KMF on behalf of the Saudi Arabian government.
this amount help build the first Islamic elementary school in Korea.
The Korea Muslim Federation (KMF) has plan that it would open the first Islamic primary school named 'Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Elementary School' next March.
2009. this school manage to adopt Korea’s elementary-level curriculum to serve as a complete alternative to a regular school included Islamic subject. The school will serve as a mission that is delivering correct information about Islam to not only children but also the general public. 




카톨릭 수녀님들을 위한 이슬람특강이 지난 3월 6일(목) 중앙성원 대회의실에서 30명의 수녀님들이 참석한 가운데 이슬람의 기본교리, 역사와 사상 등을 주제로 개최되었다.
이번 특강이 참석 수녀님들에게 이슬람 대한 바른 인식을 돕는 기회가 되기를 바란다.

Special Lecture for Nuns

On March 6th, Korea Muslim Federation gave a special lecture on the 'Basics of Islam, misconceptions about Islam and Islamic thoughts' for nuns. Through this lecture, around 30 nuns have learned the truth of Islam.

본회에서 주관하는 아랍어 초급반 강좌가 2008년 3월 11일 개강했다. 일반인 대상으로 기초 아랍어 및 이슬람 문화 수강 과정으로 매주 화, 목요일 오후 6-7시에 진행되는 될 예정인 이번 아랍어 강좌에는 20여명이 등록했다.

Basic Arabic Course Has Begun
Basic Arabic course has begun in Seoul Central Masjid on March 11th 2008 and it will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6-7 p.m. Around 20 people who attend this course will not only learn Arabic but also have a chance to know Islam.






본회는 2월 27일(수) 이라크 파병 예정인 자이툰 부대원 7명을 대상으로 이슬람과 이슬람 문화에 대한 특별강좌를 실시했다. 이라크 현지에서 국위를 선양할 수 있기를 바라며 그들의 앞날에 하나님의 축복과 은총이 항상 함께 하기를 기원한다.

Special lecture for Soldiers of Zaytun Division
27th February 2008, Korea Muslim Federation established a lecture of Islam for 7 soldiers of the Korean Zaytun Division being held at the Conference Hall, Seoul Central Masjid.The aim of this lecture is to let the Zaytun Division, who will be going to Iraq, better understanding of Islam. Through this lecture, they will have learned more about Islam. May Allah bring them closer to Islam.
